Regarding my problem with asrock h97m pro4 motherboard and leadtek gtx 970 hurricane, I just found out, because of the ram slot touching the gpu backplate, i can see the gpu pcb is BENDING. I had to remove the gpu backplate completely to avoid this.. Take notes to potential buyer for this two item which is not compatiable..
Removing GPU backplate wil give about 2cm clearance between gpu pcb and ram slot.

xfastlan is useful if u connect internet with LAN. go for asrock website dl the latest one which u got use often if not u can ignored it.

what board u use?

atx motherboard hardly have this problem as u can see there is enough gap from the first pcie slot and ram slot.... im talkig about m-atx board..

I have build a HTPC and helped my relatives build the same using Mini-ITX platform on Asrock. So far so good. My HTPC nearing a year.

Use my HTPC everyday to watch NETFLIX/HULU etc.

I already have a separate PC, XBOX360, WII U, PS2 , ori XBOX for that purpose...don't need another one.

i think real world slightly improve only. my xfastlan can't open & app charger only for iphone user not android so useless. asrock software might need to improve. i prefer asus software nicer & stable that's y asrock always under asus, msi, gigabybts, evga, etc..

No...actually, most of them are not used...even XB360, currently playing WiiU the most.

i personally prefer asus. my previous asus mobo really lasting till now but my budget restricted that's y i choose asrock. so far so good for the mobo. i tested asrock software as far i can said is pretty useless sry no offense. installed xfastlan at 1st can open but after that can't open anymore. now i only installed A-turning & the app charger cos my bro sometimes charge with his ipad.

i'm not really sure as i need to ask my bro.
