I would say Michelin. For comfort go for Primacy 3 ST. Price also comes in excellent range.

Yes, agree with above.
I strongly recommend Michelin tyres for Malaysian roads because of the grip it provides. Recently changed to the only Michelin range available, Energy XM2 (due to size, I'm on 205/60/15) and as you know the wet weather was quite frequent. Immediately noticed improvement on grip in wet conditions. Cheapest set of Michelins but no compromise on the grip quality. Comfort wise, it's a new set hence the rubber is still soft and nice. P/S: BTW I don't sell Michelin. Just very happy with this brand that has safety as priority YET affordable at the same time! |

Well to start off: 205/60/15 was never meant to be performance tyres also. Yup, same vehicle with same tyre size. Immediately after switching tyres I intentionally braked hard downhill in wet conditions to "test". Normally with C Drive2 my car's ABS would start kicking in but it wasn't so with the XM2... I don't know much about tread pattern but it was good enough for me. Wondering has anyone having the same experience as you to own both XM2 and C Drive 2 on same vehicle with same tyre size. |

I do not care about noise at all because my car is old and the engine is always louder at higher speeds which drowns out the tyre noise anyway. no worries, it happened years ago and i still drive the iswara even to this day, the same set of c drive 2 still survived hmm if got size availability for michelin ps3, can consider that. else maybe something like goodyear eagle f1 directional 5, hankook v12, maybe even Yokohama S drive if its still on promotional pricing. can look up Toyo T1R/Nitto Neogen as well, Bridgestone potenza RE002 do bear in mind the above mentioned tires (with the exception of PS3 being jack of all trades) won't be comfort/quiet. |

I just ask some tyres shops, one of them said he using XM2 in Iswara as well, he told me that it's good grip and better than A or C Drive2 both wet and dry. He told he on highway, he drove 150-160kph also still grippy compared to previously A drive or C Drive 2.I might be consider XM2 over CDrive2 in the next change of tyre in future, since 185/60/14 size is not so many variety of good grip tyres. |
