I was doing research on the ROM and discovered from another forum that they've changed the rules recently that:

If you want to do your ROM in Putrajaya
1. If both your IC under Selangor, you can no longer apply in Putrajaya
2. If either one of your IC under KL and one is Selangor, you can apply in Putrajaya
Of course if both is Wilayah then no issues at all

So here's the procedures for Selangor couples:
1. First you need to head to JPN under your district or Shah Alam to submit the application form
2. Your application form will be publish for 21 days
3. Letter will be issued immediately for you to head over to Putrajaya to book your preference dates
4. Head to Putrajaya straight away to book the date that you wanted
5. After 21 days either one of you to go back to Shah Alam to take the letter if no one membantah
6. Actual day to bring the letter and go to Putrajaya for the registration

Don't ask me why they made things so mafan these days. We had to run both ways on the same day just to get things done.

JPN do open on weekends until 1p.m.

I'm not too sure with different state , but I read that either:
1. Go change your IC details (no need to change IC) to PJ/KL if you wish to do in JPN Selangor/KL
2. Go register in religious centres like Tian Hou Gong or temples, churches

hi, you mean the IC number or address ?
my ic number is Ipoh and my wife ic number is KL but both of our  address is Selangor.
Do I need to submit the application form ?

Datas that are being stored in your IC is what they will refer to.. Ones that's printed on the IC doesn't matter.
They will publish at the place you applied and not the place you picked to have your ceremony. Unless you picked temple, churches etc.

Me & my husband submitted the application last september and had our ROM in putrajaya last year November
My IC under selangor and his was kedah
He changed his address to kl address on the spot, same day we submitted the application form
JPN is just located one floor below the marriage registration office
Paid RM 1 to change the address in the chip, no need change the whole IC

Not sure this way still valid or not, since it was few month ago

They have changed the rules.
Either one must be from KL in order to submit the application in Putrajaya. Else... have to submit in Selangor then head back to Putrajaya to book a date.

confused

is it ok if one from Johor and one from Selangor?
*
To submit your application in Putrajaya? The answer is no.
Putrajaya submission - only if you of you are from KL

If both from Selangor, u need to submit in your own district first, then bring the letter to Putrajaya to book your date

Hi,

Me and my husband-to-be is from different state, I from Selangor, he from Pahang. Can we go to 1 JPN only?

Please advice
*
Yes, but you need to update his IC address to an address either in KL/PJ, there's no need to chagne the IC but just update the details.

Hi all,

the data of ROM shall be 2 months from the submission rite, i do it in putrajaya?

21 days to be exact, to have both your details being published.
I guess why 2 months because usually weekends are packed and fully booked most of the time.
