good that you got a solution.
yes- do test with soap water... a little bit messy but safe you another trip to get the CO2 refilled.

it does looks ok, which part does it contact??

actually, you are not able to rotate the regulator outlet valve ( the one makerd S-Y) by 90deg?- so the fitting will face front instead of down?

the way to do it, is to remove the valve, use teflon tape (PTFE) and reinstall it

cheers

The tank's nut crash with splitter head. Check the bottom picture.

I dont want to take the risk for any leakage if I rotate 90deg then unable seal back... I done some house water piping fix last time, its a nightmare to touch something that had no issue....

if the tank nuts... then you may rotate the "complete regulator assembly"
shut the tank valve, and open the regulator connection... the rough thing just above the nuts. you need to do this evertime you send you tank out for refill right?
Rotate the complete regulator by 90 deg- then screw back the connector.

hope you understand this.
no harm on grinding the splitter a little, but seems more works

what i mean is turn this rough surface- then the top part (regulator body) will come off from the cylinder valve.

the lower part- is the cylider valve- it is to be shut off and remain with the cylinder body.

Usually it should be non-issue but sometime this thing does happen.

Always get a cheap shrimp(the one feed fish) MYR1-2 at LFS first to test water
Once they grow up, rmb to throw them away

The feeder shrimps/thailand ghost shrimps are pretty tough. They can live in BGA infested tank with no problem.

yaya, wait until next refill time, my 2l Co2 for 10g tank, so far run 6 month ady... just drop from 90 > 80%

My next incoming upgrade Eheim Classis 250 + Inline diffuser for this tank.

Got another identical free tank now standby as Co2 splitting is ready.
Thinking dry start Iwagumi style + Caridina Shrimp, looking for inspiration now...
Currently using MC as carpet but its my first time setup so a lot of mistake.
The second tank gonna do it more nicely, maybe challenge HC hmm.gif

Yes, you can either dip in hot water for 15min to let the leaf soften.

Tibun, soft bone from cutterfish/shark sweat.gif

Just added 2 amano & 2 nerite Attached Image
Mainly to control the Algea, but Amano is so aggressive on food, and their size is too giant compare to RCS
