Hi, people. This is my first time posting here. This is my first time adopting a cat.

I have a domestic short hair female kitten, about 5 month old. She is actually a stray kitten, was so thin when she first came to my house. Now her weight is around 1.9kg. She would be receiving her 3rd vaccination early next month. She lives outdoor, i made her a house. My concern is that she is prone to get flu and fever, moreover given the fact she did not get her mother’s breastmilk, thus her immune might be low. This is her second time to have that within 3 months. I am quite worried as her appetite would reduced drastically, she would appeared lethargy, not active and became so thin whenever she got sick. Right now im feeding her with blackwood kitten dry with occasional cindy’s original or fussie cat premium wet once in two or three days.

Any suggestion on how to improve her immune system or maybe there is a better food for her?

Hi guys, I often give my cat cindy’s wet food from time to time. But im wondering, for cindy’s what are the differences between original / delicious / favorite? That small differences in the ingredient are significant? Honest question.

I made the comparision chart to see the actual amount of protein in the food and also, the not stated carbs. I would want to buy the food which contains higher amount of protein, rather than carbs.

After keying in most shelf brands, I am surprise to find that majority famous brands actually has higher carbs...

Hmm.. it seems that protein/carb content between delicious and original are not differ so much. Yet their pricing are. And the original with goat’s milk, the protein content is much lower than the others. Thank you for the chart. Here i am thinking the different might be just the flavor, need to check each properly before buying it.

jz diff flavour wit bit diff ingredient , more choices for consumers, good for marketing..
makes not much diff for cats... lol...

Yeah that why i asked, more over my cat has been neutered. In term of flavor, i had tried given the fussie cat super premium (gold label), it smells so nice and my cat loved it so much! But it is way more expensive than usual fussie cat black label.

Apparently, the Delicious and original are made with human grade meat. The small can one. So haha not sure if its true but my cat loves Cindy's recipe wet food. I thought of giving him cindy dry one cause it is made in France and imported and packaged in HK. Wanted to change it from Royal canin cause its kinda expensive and there is mix review on how good RC is. So might try cindy soon

I went to a pet shop and have a look between those small cans (80g) and larger cans (400gm). I checked both Fussie cats and Cindy's that were available in the store. From what i observed, small cans tend to have higher protein (up to 15%), lower fat content but larger cans have lower protein (highest i saw is 12%) and higher fat content.

I bought 1 Fussie cat 400g can to try. For me it doesn't look and smell as good as those 80g cans, but better than Whiskas / Friskies wet food. Anyhow my cat just happily eating it laugh.gif

I'm giving my cat Brit dry. From the kitten one to the sterilised one recently. Last time she used to eat Blackwood, but quickly get bored with it.
