hi guys, i really need some help. i have K for 2 months and adopt M for 8 days. both are kittens.

the first day looks ok. second day both play & chase each other. looks ok

but on 3rd day, K always bite M's neck & ear. M will hissing but no growling & later will find place to hide.

K is a bit rough. she just want to play.

why is they ok on 2nd day but the next day both completely different? can both of them reconcile and play together?

I seems to have a similar problem. I have had L & Li for 2 months. They are sisters. Then recently I adopted another male kitten. And Li could not take it. She hiss and berserk. Very defensive. However L is more receptive to the new kitten and this just angers Li now all 3 dont really get a long.

So I tried to cut their whiskers, this seem to have positive effects for a few hrs. They were kindda thrown off balance. But it was temp only.

Any suggestion how to get them along again?

jz be patient, it will take time.  ez for cats less than 1y to get along.

hv u seen cat shelters,  boarding places tht dont cage cats.

all can share places just fine.

need to observe ' bullying ' tho.

Ok thanks. So far I dont see any physical attack as all of them are kitten. I think she is scared the new kitten.

I'm one of those who are totally against cutting a cat's whiskers. It had your desired effect because cutting their whiskers makes them disoriented.

AFAIK, introducing a new cat requires time and patience. What some people do is they isolate the new cat away from the existing ones and then slowly introduce the new cat's scent to them. I heard people say it could take a month or more before they can get along, and in some cases they cannot get along at all, in which case you might need to consider giving up the new kitten.

Ok noted. I also dont think it does anything other then disorient then for a few hrs.

Ya I'm gonna observe for a few more days and see. But I think the older kittens are just scared ask it took them a month to get used to me since I adopted them. Even now if I make loud noise or sudden movement they will run and hide.
