Hi guys,

I'm going to send my cat to oversea and need to perform clinical test in Government Approved Veterinary.

Do anyone know any vet that is Government Approved and qualify to send pet to oversea after that?

You need to ask them of course. Go to your district veterinary office. They have cats/dogs clinic there, so any checkup required can be done there. I don't know the procedure for pet export but I would think they're the one that have the authority to produce certificate to allow you for pet export.

Thanks guys for the reply. I will look for government veterinary and inquire for them.
Meanwhile, I hope anyone who know which government vet is approved can let me know so I don't need to search for it too much.

Thank you

Have to move to Labuan.  sweat.gif

Hello. Sorry for my ignorance but by Labuan do you mean to Borneo?

According to my limited knowledge, as long as you are moving pet to other country. Here's what u need:

1) Look for pets agent. It's up to how much u want the pets agent to handle. Some pets agent only offer certain services and some offer more. It's the cost that you need to consider to use their services. You need to ask what is their procedure and what they cover.

1.5) You also need someone or some agent from Labuan to take care of your pet once your pet reach there. So Labuan side also need to do some preparation. Unless you are going over with your pet at the same time.

2) Send pets to veterinary for complete clinical test & check up (Need to ask the pet agent for what check up is required, I'm still looking for pets agent & which veterinary is suitable now).

3) Obtain import permit for your pet from animal export center. The only one I know is at Shah Alam. You can call them to ask what document is required before you go there to do the import permit. If my memory serve me right, you need the clinical test report as well.

4) Look for pet carrier/export that will schedule flights for your pet. You need all the related document like clinical report & import permit, then they will settle for you.

Yeah. Borneo's Labuan.

Thanks for the explanation. Just googled something on number 3. I'll go there maybe next week.
I'm really interested to know on number 4. What are the procedures? Will they give sleeping pills to my cats during flights?
*
Oh I don't think they will give something like sleeping pill.

Most probably they will just gather all pets in one place and send into the flight.

I'm not so sure what is the procedure thou. I only know you need to have all medical report, import permit, and any related doc to be prepared before that. If possible, look for an agent that cover sending pet for flight so they can settle everything once and for all.

Good luck mate
