Where can I get cheap service to spay cats? I got a couple of stray cats which have been hanging out around my house. My mom has been feeding them daily. 3 generations. The mum gave birth to a couple of which 3 still survives. And out of the 3, 2 gave birth recently and even the mom gave birth as well. So I'm guessing there's about 20 cats and kittens or so in or around my house now including 5 of my own cats(which have been spayed). So I was planning to spay the cats(if I can catch them) that are around my house. Any idea where I can do this cheaply as there is quite a number of them. In KL.

QUOTE(basilisk @ Nov 7 2016, 02:21 PM) yes pls do spay/neuter them if you can, normal private clinic will beĀ more pricey, i have heard of klinik kembiri in setapak? gov klinik, but im not sure their rating. or u can seek advice frm this group tnrm, which i find they r very helpful https://m.facebook.com/Trap-Neuter-Release-...03709439694040/ spca organise klinik kembiri, u hv to contact them to book n ask the price. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid...&id=44640111208u can try trap the cats using cat carriers, or buy musang trap [attachmentid=7969104] i think this is the latest rate for klinik kembiri, it has gone up tru the years. [attachmentid=7969161] I actually like the cats, so does my family. Hence why we're feeding them. So i don't mind them being around the house although do have to spay them if not the breeding will be uncontrollable. What do they mean by Trap, Neuter, Release? I don't mind them being around the house. This post has been edited by air_mood: Nov 7 2016, 04:42 PM

Hi, do we have any sort of cat community spay program or something like that in KL. I have some strays with lingers at my house. Since they are there, my family takes care of them, feeding etc. There is currently 6 kittens and about 4-5 adults hanging about our house which we are feeding daily in addition to the 4 cats already in our house. I recently noticed the mother is pregnant again, 4 months since the last one. Would like to catch and spay these cats if possible. Don't mind taking of them but would like to prevent there being too much until the point where it might bother my neighbours. Any idea where I can do this cheaply since there's quite a number of them.

QUOTE(kizwan @ Feb 3 2017, 02:45 PM) I don't know any group over there that do trap-neuter-release program. Try search at facebook. The next cheapest option is neuter/spay at Jabatan Veterinar's clinic. At Perak, female is RM80 & male is RM40. I don't know how much they charge over there. Keep in mind not all clinic offer neuter/spay service though. Check out clinic near you whether they do. You just need to keep them at home for 1 to 2 weeks after surgery & then you can either release or set up for adoption. Thanks for the recommendation. Don't think I'll put them up for adoption though. We'll just continue feeding them but looking to at least neuter/spay them so they won't breed more to the point where the neighbors might complain. I've already spayed/neutered 5 of the cats that's in my house. It's the rest that I'm trying to get spayed if possible.

QUOTE(basilisk @ Jun 12 2018, 02:22 PM) hi, good that u r taking care of this family. hope u can help by spaying the mom cat, when the kittens are old enough to eat solid food. since mom cat is not human friendly, you will need help to trap her . i have pm you. Can you PM me as well on the trapping. One of the cat that loiters around my house seems to have somewhat of a wound/gash near the right side of it's neck. I would like to bring it to the vet to check.
