Hey all, I found a way to cut down cat litter waste/expenditure.
1. Use cat litter crystals. Half pack enough for a tray, or buy 2 packs of crystals.
2. After a week, wash and rinse with detergent, while the other half pack of crystals are used.
3. Dry/jemur in the sunlight for a few days, the longer the better, as long as it takes the other new batch of crystals to be used (a week?)
4. Then repeat step 1 with the other batch of cat litter crystals.
You can basically cut cat litter expenses down by over 50 percent if you're willing to wash, rinse and dry them.
I am done with clumping litter, too wasteful, cumbersome to scoop daily especially if cat pees more than poo, like my growing cat.
