as far as I know, at least in the US, your pet can be carry-on with an additional pet fee. I personally would not put my pet in cargo.

She's okay with me rubbing her belly - Depending on her mood. Although she usually gives me a stare, before proceeding to bite my hand gently laugh.gif

one of my girls likes her belly rubbed, but she likes being petted all over in general. her sister is a little more aloof and dictates her pet time.

Hey, i have been using fussy cat litters as well and the effect is not that good after a week. The urine clump tends to scatter and cause high ammonia smell in the surroundings. Recently i changed to Catit Crystal and there is no odour and its amazing. rclxms.gif

You need to remove clump everyday but since you said the clump tends to breakdown & smelly then that is not good litter.

the mother cat will actually take care of that part. when they are bigger then need to introduce to them their litter area.

http://www.mustlovecats.net/Newborn-Kittens.html
Cleaning and Caring for Newborn Kittens

A newborn kitten will sleep most of the day, and when they are not sleeping, they are eating. Although, a newborn kitten cannot pee or poop on his/her own. It takes about two to three weeks for a kitten to do it on his/her own, until then, you need to make sure that the mother cat is licking and cleaning her kitten's bottoms.

If she is not doing it, you will need to do this yourself. You will need to gently rub the kitten's genital areas with a piece of moistened cloth, to stimulate him/her to go potty. This must be done every two hours.

While awake in the box, your newborn kittens will scoot around each other and their genitals will be stimulated, they will pee and poop, so be sure to change the blankets or towels inside their box twice a day. You will also need to wipe the kittens off, be sure to use a lightly damp cloth.

"Save the cheerleader, save the world" biggrin.gif - Basically you take care the mother cat & the mother cat will take care her kittens. Prepare a proper place for them, my favourite is a box, preferably put in less traffic & quiet place. Any place that is not stressful to the mother cats. Some mother cats when too stressful may not be able to take care her kittens properly. You need to separate them from your cats. To cats, very small kittens is like small lizard which they like to play & in the process can cause injury or death to the kittens.

I suspect my cat has feline leukemia, rapid weight loss, barely able to walk, nasal secretion and more symptoms that fit the disease.

Very heartbroken and the thought of putting her to sleep came across my mind a few times sad.gif

Did the mother cat & her kittens now at your home? A couple months ago I did rescue "freshly" thrown away 4 kittens age 4 to 5 months. They pretty obvious don't know where to go & they trying to eat dried out food on a piece of old news paper which I believe put there by their previous owner. First thing they did when I brought them back home, they sit on our lap like they really grateful to have home again. There's also DMH tortoiseshell cats; a mother cat & her newly born kitten but now already 1 to 2 months old.

I rarely rescue cats because fortunately over here not often I see cats in distress. Most of my cats came to my house by themselves (age around 3 to 4 months old when they came here).

Sorry to hear that. I think better bring to vet to make sure it's FeLV.
