Hm, ok...looks like I kena put her in my office (though it gets really hot during the day - unless I run the fan all day long la. LOL) or my bedroom.
Any ideas how long the acclimatisation will take?Btw, any tips on selecting a cat to adopt other than the usual (active, bright eyed, etc)?
Also, anyone know where I can go to adopt a rescued cat, etc?
(Sorry for all the questions - first time considering a cat. I have 12 years of dog rearing experience and small pets but never cats. LOL.)
Well, just look around see if you can find the ones you like. There is nothing wrong if you have preference like fur color, e.g. some people like black cat, some like calico cat, etc. Pretty sure there will be "sesi suai kenal" between you & the cat before you officially adopt & bring the cat home. Bring your children too because you can see whether the cat is friendly toward your kids or not.
When adopting new cat, I think main things you should ask are whether the cat already neutered or not & whether the vaccination is up to date or not.
