now that i want to use it with a pc, i need to download the update but my company server is blocking the download. itunes 7 also cant access the update.
can anyone figure out a solution for my problem ?

my ipod is mac formatted.
now that i want to use it with a pc, i need to download the update but my company server is blocking the download. itunes 7 also cant access the update. can anyone figure out a solution for my problem ? |

if your ipod is mac formatted you cannot update the firmware using pc, you have to restore it first then upgrade again to pc formatted

Thats what im trying to do! to restore! i cant download the update to restore ! itunes also cant download the file to restore! damn!

yes, u dun have to download the update. you can restore using itunes but as in my original post, ive stated that my company server is blocking itunes from accessing the updates to restore my ipod for pc usage. |
