Anyone can teach me how do I adjust the wi-fi connection settings? I tried to use to manual IP setting as told in certain website but it just doesn't seem to work if there my com doesn't disconnect from the connection first. I wanted to get both my com and my ds connection to be available so i can communicate with people while trading. I also planned to look for battle so i think communication is quite important too

Yes, it will work. I also heard there is a mechanic called Masuda Method which is activated when you put 2 pokemon from diff language version to breed. (eg japan with NA). It will allow the chances of breeding a shiny to increase by 4 times. The down side is you can't control the nature by everstone. And yes, even if the chances was mutiplied by 4, you still need plenty of luck. (from 1/8000+ to 1/2000+).

Hi, guys. I noticed the event pokemons like the current Ash Pikachu that is available in Japan is quite popular now. If you happen to have one you should try to offer it in a forum and might get something nice! I gotten a Crown Entei and Suicune for offering it.


I'm not sure how to say, but most of the time after i connected my ds with the WFC i will probably get an error after around 5-10 minutes. Oya, btw my house got is pretty bad for receving phone signals. Not sure is this related because I don't know whether is the frequency or something is interrupted onot.

Erm, if i remember correctly Crown events are the event held now for the current movie in Japan. they are also shiny btw. They are many event pokemon collectors in the world so if by any chance you have those they don't, high chance you will get something good with it.

Yes, I'm using the router located in my living room. But my house receives bad signals for handphones due to reason that I have not known yet and I'm not sure whether the connection of DS is related with this case or not. It just annoys me that i cant do any wifi battles for more than 10 minutes and thus i only tried battle with one person.

Crown pokemons have special movesets too. These can't be learned in game.

Suicune - sheer cold, air slash, extremespeed, aqua ring
Entei - flare blitz, howl, crush claw, extremespeed
raikou - zap cannon, aura sphere, extremespeed, weather ball

I also heard they can unlock certain event in the coming Black&White version.

Ok, i'll admit I'm using rom but everything inside is all legit. No PokeSav no AR. Everything is hand breed with time and EV trained or traded in through people after confirming they are legit. Although most are clones though for the events/shinies....

Oh wait, i just got one stupid hacked shiny Aerodactyl from the GTS after trading away my Entei. I thought GTS will get rid of most hacked pokemon?

I choosed the Aerodactyl when i saw that it is pink in color. I even slightly trained my Entei from UT to 50 just for it. haiz...

The aerodactyl is i got is caught by master ball in the battleground in platinium version. Which is suppose to be impossible because Aerodactyl can't be caught by any means. Whats more intriguing to me is that it has gone through multiple hacks. First shiny, second catched by master ball, third is it is caught from trainer. I checked bulbapedia and find that it has the same lv and movesets as the aerodactyl of one of the gym leader.

Darn... a shiny found in GTS is too tempting and i think still won't learn the lesson if i found another... Now i just hope someone in those forums i visit will be willing to pickup it as soon as possible.


I would love to battle you but I still haven't successfully breed out the desired IV for my Abomasnow for my last slot. Morever, my connection also always fails me as I play long game with at least 2 stallers. (3 attempt, 3 DC) Btw, are you all using Smogon tier?

haha, there is no need to worry about IV/EV if you did not planned to play online. It is better to divide up in-game teams and online-play teams as their role might be different. I find that you can do most things with level and money(item) inside the game but when you fight something with same level(online/battle tower) you need more strategies. Only do IV/EV if you want to look out for competitive battles i guess.

I started my EV/IV training but after realised i don't have stable connection i just don't feel like turning back only lol. xD

lol, just skip it if you are not a hardcore player . To me as long as you can use item, you have no fear inside the game. Normal people will just satisfy by getting the right Nature for pokemon since the stat boost is pretty much enough. IV/EV is just for some even better qualities i think.

thanks, luckily i have befriended with the person before this match otherwise i might annoy him to disconnect because my tank just happen to get a 3 heal per turn.

Wow, nice offer! I am offering a Gamestop Deoxys for the Crown Raikou as it is the only one left for the Crown set to be complete and I just gotten a shiny Deoxys recently. I could also breed a Phione if you want.

Edit: I also have a UT shiny torchic or bagon that I am willing to give up for it.

you can get a ho-oh in Soul Silver after you reached somewhere in Kanto and gotten the gold feather/wing. Can't remember the details though.

Okay, i'm off to sleep now. Before I off, I'll mimic radkliler but partly to satisfy my own desire:

I'm giving Phione for free to anyone who can give me 2-3 pokedex of legends i don't have. First you trade me the legends, I'll slowly give back everything to you. In the end you will receive the Phione and I will get the dex and a random pokemon you gave me.

I'm looking for dex of:
Regirock
Registeel
Regice
Latias
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina
Heatran

All i want is just their dex since i can't find them in my SS and at least half are from D/P/Pt. Btw, if i can receive something rare for the random then i would be really happy xD. I don't mind if you give me a ratata or pidgey though.

Lastly, a quick sample for how i trade with you (with example of 3 regis):

1- Phione > Regirock
2- Regirock > Registeel
3- Regsteel > Regice
4- Regice > Your random (i hope its a pachirisu or skitty though. since I'm looking for one )

Pardon me for my lack of knowledge again, may I know what does it mean White and has an English name? Was it an English event?
white colot lv 100 huh? Regigigas is my only suspect.

If you happen to have a Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FR/LG catridge and the file is still available you can use the Pal Park that you can unlock to transfer almost eveything to you platinium. I remember if you have the 3 Regi in party you can unlock an event to meet Regigigas.

I'm not very sure about this since i didn't play platinium. I thought you can do it in both ways in platinium. Either get 3 regis from Gen 3 to unlock gigas or get gigas to unlock the 3 regis. Maybe I'm wrong though.
