mate i WTA

in DP, can i catch them all. i mean from pokemon #001 to #493? sweat.gif

You'll need all the 3rd generation GBA games to Catch 'em All. tongue.gif As well as going to Nintendo's Pokemon events to unlock special pokemons.

Or you can trade through Wi-Fi, or use AR........

Here's my revised FireRed team:

Technically, you can only get 1-490 now. 491-493 are this gen's unreleased Event Pokes tongue.gif

Oh yeah, Lugia and Ho-Oh, you can get from the GameCube Pokemon games. tongue.gif
*
Hehe.....you already got your 491 and 492......

what's so nice about pokemon game?

no, seriously.
*
Well you can customised your party of 6 with up to 493 types of Pokemons. But to get the Pokemons, you have to search high and low to catch it, not to mention raising it with upmost care to give you the stats you want. Not only that, you can customised your Pokemons with different movesets, so strategizing is important.

Some love it for its collecting aspect, and some love it for its competitive aspect. It takes a lot of work to fully explore it.

Is there such a thing a Move Relearner in Pokemon? D/P also got? unsure.gif

I see, so to evolve those Pokemons via happiness is to let them hold items, win battles and don't let them KO? Did I missed anything?

My last "actual" Pokemon game was Gold blush.gif I played Sapphire on ahem doh.gif sweat.gif

And I'm really keen on getting D/P  cool2.gif

Move relearner can help your pokemon relearn moves that have been deleted/replaced. Sometimes you can get new moves from him when your pdkemon evolves.

Pokemons like their trainers to use items on them, especially vitamins (calcium, zinc, etc). But don't feed them bitter herbs.

After so much trouble and waiting, I finally bought my Diamond. I'm like a kid on the christmas that day. biggrin.gif

It's lots of fun, but it also gives me a headache. Lack of sleep aside, I'm at the sixth gym and I only have 3 pokemons. rclxub.gif

Just got my FC today.

To make use of those EVs (Effort Values) stuff, it's better to train a Pokemon from scratch right? (like right from it's hatched from the egg)

Because depending every Pokemon your Pokemon fights will contribute to the status right?

Or was it the Pokemons that you fight when your Pokemon is level 99, so when it levels to level 100; depending on what Pokemon you fought, your respective status will rise?

I'm so confused about these EVs, the last time I played I didn't know there's such thing... rclxub.gif

Not really. You see, a wild Pokemon appear to have lower stats against trained Pokemon because it has 0 EV to begin with, while trained pokemon already gained some EVs from battling. The advantage of breeding is you have the chance to have higher than normal IV with hatched pokemon (don't count on it, really.), getting the nature you wanted without the hassle of finding/catching them, and get pokemon with moves they can't learn normally (leveling up, TM/HM, move tutor, etc) through crossbreeding. And EVs are hidden value, but at least you can know if your pokemon have obtained the maximum 510 EVs by going to the last city (I forgot the name) and see if your pokemon get the Effort Ribbon.

Unless you into serious battling, I don't think you want to battle the same pokemon like......100 times in a row.

Now I'm breeeding 4 Pokes that will be the part of my final team. I can't decide whether to use Inferape as physical sweeper or a balanced spe.atk/atk. Focusing on one kind of attack is great but it leaves you vulnerable to some pokemon (especially Wobbuffet), and I need to score high damage with Close Combat or it'll be in trouble with low defence. So what you think of my Inferape moveset?

Close Combat

I'm using PC at the time. If I'm using the DS browser to post it, the hotspot will log me out automaticly before I have the chance to post. XP But the handwriting recognition is wonderful (it recognise my crappy chinese writing XD)

The browser freezes completely when loading the LYN's CSS (the DS isn't powerful enough to render it I think), so it's painfully slow if you want to view the page in its full glory. But I sometimes stop it before it loads and read the forum in plain text. After it finish loading, there's a bit of lag when you move the magnifier around but it's not as bad as you think.

Oh, I just cought a shiny Ditto in my FireRed. Now it's in my Diamond. Any takers? smile.gif

I wish I can online with you right now but the connection is really laggy. Plus I almost out of spare rare pokemons. Wait until I breed some more.

Catch a Togepi (after you get the national dex, and the pokeradar), evolve it into Togetic (when its happines level is high enough) then use Shiney Stone on it.

Got Palkia through GTS with Aerodactyl. The stats and info looked legit enough, but it's from English version and the OT location in Japan. rclxub.gif

I need some advice here. I have a Togekiss with Modest nature + Serene Grace, and I can't decide on its moveset. should I teach Roost on it or use Reflect/Light Screen. It has Air Slash and Shadow Ball for the first 2 moves.

Nasty Plot + Roost sounds really good especially for high defence pokemon. But I already EV trained it. T_T

My Togekiss is EV trained in Def, sp.def, speed (for Air Slash to work effectively) so it can take a few hits. Shadow Ball + Serene Grace will negate the lack of EV on Sp.Atk, plus it has Modest nature to begin with.
