You'll need a Membership Card to access Newmoon Island, which is unobtainable anywhere in the world. There're events in Japan where Nintendo gives out Drakrai (not the Membership Card) during the launch of the 10th Pokemon Movie. No Darkrai events are planned elsewhere at the moment.

If you're in Malaysia, you're royally screwed. There'll be no Pokemon Event ever in Malaysia. The only chance is the Wi-Fi Mystery Gift option.

I watched The Rise of Darkrai (the 10th movie), pretty good actually. I want a Darkrai soo bad.

Are you sure you a JAPANESE? Anyway, even if you get it using illegitimate means, you won't get the same good feeling as getting the real event Pokemon.

I like Darkrai because of the movie. It kinda reminds me of Ichigo's zanpakuto Zangetsu (planed to use it as Darkrai's nickname).

There's a high chance that Shaymin will be obtainable through Pokemon Ranger 2. Lets hope that it'll be the same way as Ranger 1 (where you input the code to get Manaphy Mission).

Nintendo has transfered the merchandising rights to Pokemon USA, so anything available in Pokemon Center can be purchased in other places as well. No more exclusive shop (in Nintendo World Store) or online shop.

Anyway, I have something to ask. Can a US Pokemon game receive special tiems/ Pokemon from Japanese events?

It's kinda a record on what you have received from Mystery Gift. The maximum number of Wonder Card you can keep is 3. If you want to get more than 3 Mystery Gifts, you have to discard one or more Wonder Cards (nothing happens to the item/pokemon.

And since Wonder Card is region locked, the US game can only receive Mystery Gift from US games (Pokemon Battle Revolution) or events.

I prefer a remake of Gold/ Silver/ Crystal. I want Lugia and Ho-oh!

I found the Underground very laggy even without extra people with it. I wonder how they gonna make it online enabled without making it much worse.

And even without new cloth, the male trainer still sucks. Hikari FTW!

Not really, I know one Malaysian with 100% Pokedex completion, and I have 445 types registered in mine. You can get most of the 2nd-gen Pokemon in FireRed/ LeafGreen, as well as Diamond/ Pearl via PokeRadar. Do not try to get them yourself, trading is a big part of the game you know......

I saw Pokemon Emerald in Sunway Pyramid, perhaps you should ask someone a favour. The MV Nintendo counter might have them too.

No, only bootlegs uses battery to mantain the saves, ori carts uses memory similiar to the ones used in USB Flash drives. However in Ruby/ Sapphire/Emerald, batteries are used to power the internal real-time clock, ,which in case of failure have little effect to the main gameplay itself. (The berries will stop growing when you turn the GBA/ DS off)

Actually, a Pokedex can be technically complete even without event Pokemon like Mew as long you have everything else.

It will learn Thundershock as it suppose to do. But if you have all the 4 move slots filled, one if the moves will be deleted for the new move (but I forgot starting from top or bottom).
