Its true...if you're planning to use the GTS you need to have seen the Pokemon before to be able to search. Meaning more or less you still will not be able to get rare Pokemon as you need to have at least seen them.

To see Manaphy in-game....there's a picture of it in the Pokemon Mansion...that gets added to the Sinnoh Dex.

Otherwise, just get Pokemon Ranger for a freebie Manaphy

Jolly and Adamant for physical sweepers.
Modest and Timid for special sweepers.
Naughty and Naive for mixed sweepers.

Other natures are dependant on what defensive role your Pokemon plays...

But one thing is for sure - all the neutral nature ones (Quirky etc) SUCK.

To get the 3 Regis from Platinum you need the Event Regigigas. The one you can get from the Snowpoint Temple (regardless which game you got it from) won't trigger the 3 Regi events.

If you don't have the event Regigigas, u have to transfer them from the 3rd gen games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald). No other way.
