just use the usual wireless trading function that pokemon games have i guess where u will need 2 ds.

it depends really. if the developers decide to make it as an exclusive ndsi game, then ndsl and nds are out of question. but i dont think nintendo will be tat stupid to make it happen that way since the installed base of nds and ndsl is still larger than ndsi. well, i guess the one where the game might take advantage of the newly added functionality if played with ndsi is more likely.
