Hi

During my vacation oversea, i accidentally drop my D3200 dslr, it was at hand height cry.gif

When i try to take photos, sometimes it cant auto focus, thus not allowing the shutter to snap.

At both side of the zoom range of (standard kit lens) 18mm and 55mm i wont be to take at all. I have to zoom a little bit further/nearer only then the camera can auto focus and take the photo.

Sometimes in between 18mm-55mm it wont auto focus too, i always have to move the zoom only then can take.

What's wrong with my dslr? Is it the lens? icon_question.gif

Have you checked if is the lens issue or the body? Do send to nearest shop and ask them to inspect in front of you and see which causing the problem.

But from my experience, it's usually the lens. Just send for warranty if there's still any, or buy another one. wink.gif

I open up and see no defects in both the lens and the body, probably it's inside where i cannot see, yep would send to the shop and check.

Oh the physical won't have much damage but internal might be already tali putus or something. I once had my Sigma 10-20mm dropped while my friend tried to lock into the body. The lens is totally fine but could not be used. When I sent to check, organ inside kaput sudah, need to find replacement. laugh.gif
