So let's say out of 186 GB, how much space do you have to leave in order for the computer not to lag? Or how many percentage do you have to keep? This post has been edited by limjanzen: Jan 9 2015, 12:34 PM

Previously, while I was using 60gb SSD for my OS, my space is only about 1gb, and I experience no lag..

For SSD, typically shouldn't have any lags.
For HDDs, I would say you would start seeing read/write slowdowns when the HDD is filled around 75%, and will continue to go down the nearer it is to capacity.
At 85%-90% filled, startup would start getting affected, if not sooner (assuming Windows and system reserved partition is on that HDD).
