The manga is by Atsushi Ohkubo. It's a funny and very entertaining manga. The series has also been recently picked up as an anime series. Episode 1 is already out subbed.

the voiceovers.. yeah, it sucks to a certain extent. we'll see how it goes though after a some number of episodes. too early to give the ultimatum.
I hafta to admit I'm impressed by the quality of the first episode (minus the VO's). We'll see how it goes by then since these days usually after the first few episodes the quality will degrade. that's how i see it lah. my 2 cents.
As for art style, Atsushi Okubo-sama rawks! Has loads of fanservice biggrin.gif
i wonder if Okubo-sama is writing any other (new) series besides this... hmm. hentai? lols

The art style is interesting. I only read 2 or 3 volume of the manga and it was rather funny. I think there are 2 version of the anime. Anyone knows the difference?

2 versions? i dont know abt the other but BONES Studios and SquareEnix (yes, its BONES of wolf rain and eureka 7 fame. yay!) is doing the anime production. Crossing fingers and hoping they wont screw up. Uh, perhaps they already did with the seiyuu selections... its uh, kinda unnatural listening to the dialogs... but the humor? it never fails me thumbup.gif
