Hi im finalizing name transfer for my house and lawyer side told me to provide cukai tanah and cukai pintu for 2015. My dad told me he’s forgotten where he put the bills. Is there a way for me to check the status of my cukai tanah and cukai pintu for this year, and is it possible to get another copy of the statement again? So I can provide it to the lawyer.

Afaik cukai tanah you need to go to pejabat tanah.. Cukai pintu you just need wait for the bills to be arrived, usually around April every year.

Pretty much dependent on where the property is located.

I have tried for MPSJ. I think you can search by on your IC. Pretty friendly.

The cukai tanah thingie for Selangor, you can search based on account no or some land title number. Very unfriendly.

jus went to mpsj website to check for the cukai pintu, but no record showed. entered my ic, dad's ic, and sis's ic also no record showed :S any idea?

Go to mpsj office and ask to print out the statement on the spot. no charges incurred.

I am making a guess. If it is an old property perhaps it's registered under old IC number. Or maybe you bought over from some previous owner, the name is not even changed.

If you have a copy of old bills, it will help a lot.

MPS (Selayang) & MBSA (Shah Alam) can search via their web portal. But you need to register first. All records are there. But pls ensure the MP registered is not the previous owner IC / Name.
