i dont know whats the shop name actually... its in the middle of the jalan one.

quality, im not sure, cos i made a mistake in dragonfly. i asked him to make my tattoo brownish although he didn't want to initially. turned out looking like my tattoo faded like hell. its not the artist's fault, its my own fault for going against the artist's advice. ahaha.

the one below monorail.. its a thailand artist... the quality, well im not so sure about it. u know when u tattoo, ur tattoo not supposed to bulge up right? from what i heard, if it bulges up means he drilled it in too deep. but on the bright side, its a free 3D tattoo for me =) the one i did in that shop, the tattoo bulges up more than usual.

price-wise, the one below monorail is cheaper than other shops in sgwang and dragonfly. around 100-150 cheaper.

said that his job is very good, better than the thai artist (who inked me too deep) actually.

YAY ! Last night just did my own ear lobe piercing ... i had sum equipments ready .. i bought a pack of 10 20g needles , Sea salt spray , rubbing alcohol and gloves .

The needles and sea salt spray i bought from an online store . The rubbing alcohol and gloves i bought at a pharmacy .

The process went really fine . No complications whatsoever , and IT DIDN'T HURT AT ALL !

I did that once, but I used ice instead. Turns out fine nod.gif

self piercing is much cheaper - but the downside...you might end up piercing not such a nice placement for the jewellery

unless u're willing to re-pierce again after hitting the wrong placement shocking.gif shakehead.gif cry.gif

I really wonder how come they charge so much for piercing using needle . Could it be the Service Charge or the stuff they use .

yea the bulk of the charge goes to their service - since if they pierce, u go through minimal pain unless u're alreadi darn pro at doin DIY piercing

but the truth is, a lot of ang mohs in the States actualli do their own - but that again ,the ratio of these people compared to those who goes to professional piercers are few against many

certain piercings you could still do yourself - ear lobes and cartilage

i would think that for stretched piercings, the initial placement is very important, so for that, i would strongly suggest you go to a professional piercer - for the stretching parts, you could do yourself provided that you have enough patience to wait between stages of stretch

the parts which are hard to get good placement would prolly be like septum, bridge and prolly nostril.

other than that, they're generally fine to DIY.

p.s. very dangerous to self pierce tongue or eyebrow - since there are essential nerves involved. there has been a case a gal died from tongue piercing several hours after, due to an important nerve being pierced - she suffered bleeding in her brain which eventually led to her death

Im finally getting inked tomorrow @ Borneo Ink after a superb 6 long weeks as their appointments are all full. I am gonna attend my 1st session which is the outline of the koi fish. Its my very 1st tattoo tho. Hopefully the pain is barable. I can actually imagine the pain now. wink.gif
