how long have u taken them off, and how long have you wore them b4 u take them off? that's the 2 questions u should be pondering here

i had 4 piercings on my left ear, all which i wore for half a year to 8 months b4 taking them off - took me close to 1 year for them lumps inside to completely disappear (as in 100% completely disappear).
smile.gif

well....underlying reason: they were done with piercing guns

and my cartilage took more than 1 year to heal - it was done with gun also

well....my first 6 piercings were done with gun , and they were the last to be done wtih gun ever since
*
taken them off for 2++ yrs sad.gif wore them for about 2++ yrs also
only 1 closed properly without any lump sad.gif

yup, done with gun~is that the effect? shocking.gif

Yeap, with gun - skin harder. With needle - can't feel any bumps.

i. what kinda piercings & tattoo(s) you have?
4 on the left, 5 on the right, nose piercing (closed already).

ii. where u got them?
all at sunway pyramid's zing stall. nose piercing at subang parade.

iii. and tell us about your experiences?
all the ear piercings are fine. not painful. the piercer at subang parade who did my nose was pretty dumb though. she used a gun & insert the stopper as well, causing difficulty to remove the stud. it was slightly painful but bearable, but only for like 10mins. infected like twice (due to school teachers who kept telling me to remove it & when they're gone i'll insert it back when it's not even healed yet) so i closed the hole.

iv. Future piercings & tattoo(s) you plan to have?
a snake tattoo on my left's upper back (not sure of the design yet though, butterflies seem really common) & a navel piercing.

v. Post pictures of your own piercings and tattoos
kinda lazy. will do when i've the time though.

questions : i'm planning to get my tattoo next week on thursday at sungei wang. either tribal body arts or zoo arts (not sure which to choose yet). any recommendations ? & do they check for ic ? i'm age 17, going without a guardian.

edit : okay, i read the last page's posts & some say there's only a need to fill out a form if underaged. so by filling the form i'm able to get my tattoo done? correct me if i'm wrong though, thanks.

I recently pierced my ear last 2 weeks, and I suppose you can say it's my first time piercing. So when I took off my earring to put on a new one, I seem to FAIL to find the other side of the hole to poke through.. spent some time on it too.

When my mum helped me with it, I think she did poked wrongly that it was painful for a while. Any ideas what I should do? :/ I pierced with a gun btw.

perhaps u took it out too early before it completely healed... from my experience, guns take longer to heal than needles, not sure why tho

ah I see =.=" how long do you reckon it would take to heal?

Crap I think my piercing just closed? wtf. It was bleeding slightly earlier, and now my 'hole' looks like a black dot and if I had to guess, I think my blood dried in it or something? What should I do about it?

if u've taken it out more than few hours, since ur piercing is like 2 weeks old - the hole has closed i'm afraid
u want to have the hole back? wait for few months for it to heal completely b4 gettin' it repierced - but using needles this time

cause guns cause much more trauma to the skin with blunt force of the gun pushing the jewellery through our flesh
creating much swollen areas and bleeding actualli

also the piercing hole is created, with the flesh being push to the back of the ear (in the case of piercing ear lobe, or ear cartilage) - as opposed to needle, where the flesh is removed on the spot, creating an immediate piercing hole, creating no pressure for the jewellery to fit in
