First of all, I think this is a nice writeup. Well done. I think it captures a lot of what most people think about WOD. In terms of which experience you felt was more enjoyable different people will have different views. I thought the MC raid was so so at best. I did it for the mount I hardly use. As a pvper myself you want to use a mount which doesn't scream focus me down first ! Southshore vs Tarren Mill was overhyped I felt. The scoring system was really unexpected. In hindsight, I think it was done to make the battle finish much faster. Those 30 mins of mindless pvping was ok in my honest opinion. It was too long even for pvp, thus the implementation of the strange scoring system. The concept of the garrison was fresh at first. It was fun for a while. Sending your followers out to do your work for you was refreshing. Getting minerals and herbs from your own little town was great. Then boom! that town quickly became a small city, and finally the size of Stormwind. You felt like it was your own haven. Until. You had to face it every single day. By yourself. The concept of having your own plot of land in azeroth fails. It forces you to do dailies by yourself in your own land. You felt alone. Slowly, that alone factor is further compounded when you open up your mining shaft to level 3...... OMFG.... 1 week of digging for ores in there just sucked the life out of me. I didn't even have the courage to open up the fishing plot nor the pet plot..... UNTIL the Ashran Q happened. Whilst leisurely waiting for that Q to pop.... it is rumoured that some of our guildies got their fishing from 1-700. Now they are catching up on some old movies they missed this year whilst waiting for that Q to pop. Such is the hardships of being Alliance on Cael. The good people in Nusantara will tell you that their Q's are insta pop. I did in fact consider sending a toon over to horde to enjoy the insta Q status. Alas, my playtime is also quite limited, which was the only thing that held me back.
Post launch 2 months, most of my days are spent waiting in Q for ashran and doing premade bgs whilst q'ing. I don't even want to go to my garrison anymore. It's not something I enjoy. The only joy from wow now is playing with a bunch of long time friends I have been lucky to meet whilst in the guild, some of them from as far back as 7 years ago. I look forward to recruiting more ppl from my homeland as a means to get the game more interesting. I don't mind if I have to train them up from scratch to do PVP or if they are better than me. I think there will be much more banter that way, and hopefully make the game much more enjoyable than it is now. I mean, it's still a good game but wow was always about who you play with, and not how good you were at it. Cheers!

Also after much consideration, this set is still my Fave as a Pally.
