Anyone who is interested in studying pure science or mathematics (or just wanna go overseas, mind you biggrin.gif ) and has fairly good result can try to apply for this scholarship. It is open for application from 31 December 2014 to 28 February 2015. It offers degree, master and Ph.D. Of course, it is hard to get. But worth a try though. biggrin.gif

*Pls be noted that you must get admission into top uni listed if wanna go overseas. Otherwise, local IPTA and IPTS will do.

You sure ? the website did not specify any details specifying only for Science subjects.
*
You are right. I am not sure about Master and Ph.D applications but for degree level, Pure Sciences and Math are the only options.

Oh I know what you meant. MyBrainSc and MyBrain15 are separate scholarships. MyBrainSc (as in Science) offers from degree level until Ph.D for pure sciences and math while MyBrain15 is meant for Master and Ph.D studies in other field.

I applied through UCAS. This is the UK university application system which allows students from all over the world to pursue their studies abroad. You will need to write a personal statement before sending your application to the universities applied.  And, you will have to pay RM130 for the application fees. Most importantly, you must meet the requirements of the course you are applying for in the particular university. biggrin.gif
*
Going to UK sounds like a good idea too. biggrin.gif How did you apply using matriculation results? I mean do they know about our local grading system? And did they require you to take extra tests like SAT which is necessary for US application?

No extra exam is taken smile.gif Once your application is sent out, they will ask for the transcripts of your academic qualifications. Don't worry, the most difficult part is writing a personal statement. The personal statement must impress them to get you accepted into their universities. PLEASE DO NOT PLAGIARIZE! They have a system to check the plagiarism. As for Asasi, you can e-mail the admission team of the particular university to  know the minimum requirements of academic qualifications. Before I forget it, some unis will require you to take the IELTS exam to prove your English proficiency. The IELTS exam costs you about RM650 if you are really hoping to get enrolled into prestigious universities like University College London, Imperial College London or University of Edinburgh. Why not you apply for Australia universities?
*
I don't have any particular university in favour now biggrin.gif Australia unis would ask for IELTS too don't they? My friends say some of my seniors managed to apply using their first sem results so I think I would like to try as well biggrin.gif

Good luck to you! Some Aussie unis don't need students to take IELTS. Like Uni of Adelaide, University of New South Wales. By the way, what course are u going to apply for?
*
Chemistry biggrin.gif Anyway, will you still go if u didn't get the scholarship? Living expenses are really high overseas blink.gif

You will have to work locally but the choice is not confined to just being an educator. And yes you must apply for the universities by yourself.

it is compulsory to provide reference letter for first degree in oversea..?or just for postgraduate
*
I am not sure but it's better that you do. In the conditions it is written that you do not need to submit reference only if the universities u apply for already stated that you do not need to submit the reference.
