I have an Evy 17" laptop and I plan to hook it up via Dell 27" S2715H monitor via VGA.

My purpose is to use as primary monitor (my laptop being secondary) for working / study / some minor video entertainment purpose at office (i'm an academician).

SO my question is:

If I use VGA, will the graphics quality going to be bad or I should use HDMI instead?

no difference in terms of quality at short distances

VGA quality is only affected when it comes to long distances. otherwise, it works just as fine as HDMI

though, some swear that they can see the differences... from my own testing, i dont see any difference at all
