would it be advisable to take extended warranty for this new xps? eyeing at the mid range model but not sure if it's worth to add on the warranty.

QUOTE(evofantasy @ Jan 14 2015, 09:20 PM) depends on: It should be for light usage only for the next 1.5 years. Assignments, research and light surfing... after that i'm not too sure. I already have a desktop so the laptop is more for mobility.- how long you plan to use it for? - what are you using it for (for wear and tear) - budget? - how mobile are you? - computing knowledge if you are a heavy user, then it is always worth imho My main concern was the touch screen since it's still new in the market. Other than that, i think Dell should be ok. |

Actually i read through a few reviews so far.... only complain was the new position of the webcam. If u wan lasting for 4yrs above.. do like miong93 say.. get latitude... But I suggest u wait for ppl review 1st... It's been a while since i've used laptops so i have no idea how long laptops these days last. |

QUOTE(evofantasy @ Jan 15 2015, 02:45 PM) In that case i would just have the Dell NBD warranty for 2 years just to be safe and giving you a peace of mind (which is very important) Yea i guess i will go for 2 years to be safe Personally all my laptops works well over the years without any problem but it may just be my luck. |
