Hi! Need opinion. I'm planning to get 24K gold ring as my wedding ring. Is it advisable?

Will be wearing it everyday. I was told it will get damaged easily. So, I'm worried. sweat.gif

Better get the 916 gold... more hard.. not easy to break.

yes it will.. 24k (carats) is pure gold,it is not strong enough to withstand pressure and bend easily..
that is why gold for jewelry often goes up to only 22k @ gold 916

if you want 24k gold you gotta get the ring to be as thick as mine at least.. I'm using 999.99 bought from TSL in Garden's. cost me around rm3k+. So far no bend only calar calar abits.

as with all the advice above, yup, 24k gold very soft. if you inisist, for ring still ok. just make sure it is a solid one with reasonable thickness. thin or hollow ones will be bent in no time. usually just a plain round band with no fancy pattern or markings.
be prepared for the ring to get scratched and dented. i'm wearing one, btw laugh.gif
