*
I ordered through IPMART for RM2299 with shipping . The cheapest I can find lol anywhere around for new unit
Other places charge RM2399 not including gst Zzzzz

The only bad thing is their service is quite slow . Takes 1-4 working biz day to confirm order and another 1-4 working biz day to deliver
I bought things from them in the past which took 7 days to deliver XD

Just out of curiosity why are you guys selling GTX 970 ? Its a decent card I mean
980ti is damn overpriced

For me I'm cutting down on gaming time and multi gpu setup just doesnt cut out for me.

Theoretically, 980TI is not too overpriced but in fact some bang for bucks. It's performance is close to 970SLI.

But practically, it will be overpriced for being rare (supply and demand), and also local distributor's jackup and GST.

Ive seen zotac version for pre order for 2599 techview was it ? But asus version for 3199 just WTF cry.gif

Oh well just wait till the price stabilize I will sell my last 970 and get 980ti <3 single mingle card again wub.gif

Hi guys, currently using a Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming with a 1440p 60hz monitor but I think soon there will be games that I can't max all settings with the above hardware. The GPU was bought on impulse really, to quickly complete my build. So should I make an upgrade? If so, I don't know if I should get a 980 or add another 970. If I want to get a 980 I will need to sell off my 970, and if I choose to add another 970 instead it would be overkill for that 1440p 60hz panel. What do you guys think?
*
dont go for 980 . Just get another 970 or 980 ti all the way biggrin.gif

970sli is unstable sometimes works perfect on certain driver version and sometimes works like shit . Honestly just wait
once AMD new card is out hopefuly nvidia card price would stabilize sad.gif

I See many 970 user with 1440p monitor on hold now.  Hehehe might as well for me
*
on hold for what exactly 980ti ?

surprisingly after selling my other piece of 970 gaming is much enjoyable than before without random crashing and stuttering .
Frame rate seems to be stable while the settings remains the same rclxub.gif placebo or not I dunno
SLI seems to be wonky

I'll bet the game would have been a disaster if it weren't for the delay

QUOTE(vincetee06 @ Jun 26 2015, 01:57 PM)
i need a some advice, i just pre-ordered 980ti, and i aiming to 4k gaming, mostly played FPS and RPG like GTA, Witcher 3....etc.
I am surveying a 4K monitor, or TV.
But i found out a 4k TV at 40inch just around RM2k- 3k.
Instead, a 4k gaming monitor can cost the same price but smaller screen (27").

May i know whats the major difference if i buy the 4K tv instead of 4K monitor?
Which one should be good for gaming and viewing experince?

Just wonder why smaller but expansive.
*
the obvious would be immersion I suppose . You wont be sitting right in front of a 4k tv due to the bigger size
Also glaring , response time and gsync is another factor you need to consider

Now there still no proper IPS gsync monitor in malaysia like Xb270hu . ROG swift stuck at 1440p not sure about Ben q
4k TN panel is what we have in the market here but need to wait also to order

If you have went for fury probably the best monitor would be MG279q

Nothing to do with immersion

Response rates, Overdrive.

single 980ti aint gonna cut it. 2 is barely enough.

Got to wait for pascal before 2 cards can dominate 4k.
*
dunno about you but playing on big screen TV compared to a monitor I feel more immerse compared to a monitor .
980ti still can la at 4k but dont expect ultra settings . Probably have to turned off AA (which have no point at 4k) and some other settings

Yeah , yeah what the point buying 4k if you going to tone down the settings might as well play at 1080p .

Asus's reference 980TI reached, priced at RM3199, ouch.

I got it for rm 3k but could have haggle for more sad.gif

with that 3199 price might as well get the g1 gaming 980 ti which is an absolute overclocking beast . Whoops replying to old comment

353.38 seems to fix the chrome crashing issue for me . Other than that project cars load properly now , can reach 20k for gpu score firestrike

Would Team Red diehards now claim Hardwarecanucks being biased now that they came up with review of the 980 Ti Superclocked ACX2.0+ with the end conclusion titled "Fury Who?" tongue.gif

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...-review-18.html

Inb4 "wait for Windows 10, wait for DX12" or completely dismissing him as biased. Team Red is running out of excuses already.
*
if red team fury can get boost for DX12 why not maxwell as well lol ?

Oh man some people just want to feel good about their purchase not wanting to have buyers remorse

if u bought it can u test for me whether it really hit 6GB vram?? so far i didn't see anyone hit above 5.7GB vram if no mistake
*
so far cant find any game that can allow me to hit 6GB vram ... GTA V if I push further 6++ it will crash

Best I could do is 4k ultra 8x msaa all the advance graphic on peak only 5500mb like that
Surprisingly I thought its going to be slideshow but instead it plays like console 30fps lol . Damn this card is quite a beast even for a reference card

But I think the sweetspot would be 1440p pushing to 4k at least need 2 on sli . Unless you want to compromise the settings

My first non ref from them

Insanely huge but lighter than matrix 780ti

Is this longer or the same length as gigabyte gtx 970 G1 and how much does it cost ? Thinking to get another 980 ti for sli

Or do you guys think getting a gsync monitor would be better choice. It looks quite a beast running at 4k

Initially I was thinking just to get cheapest reference card, then upgrade the cooler to Corsair N980 (http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-hg1...cooling-bracket). But then I thought it way void the warranty...
*
LOL , thanks brah for giving me an idea for my next project . I think instead of going for another 980ti I just suck it up and get this aio watercooling instead . Save the money for xb270hu that's going to cost a bomb if get from amazon T_T RM 3625.82 (5-10 days shipping) not include gst and import tax die lol

My h100i doing great so far been using about a year . Idle at 34c and full load around 60c

Although i'm running full watercooling setup for my rig (look at my signature) but i might not going to slap a waterblock on it, compared with AMD R9 290 blower type fan which i used it before, Nvidia stock blower type cooler is much more quiet.
*
Too me it sounds like a hairdryer even worst compared to my old r9 290 lol
