what Negative ? if true.. Free GSync with Driver update is good story, i don't see it as Negative, (heard apply to Gaming Notebook / Asus G series) maybe You STOP been Sensitive Boy, your welcome..

Add-on : i own AMD Gpu and Msi GT70 20D (gtx 780m) i am END user(look my Wishlist i want AMD/Nvidia gpu).. buy/own what i can Afford/hit my budget.

yes i saw Freesync by amd on laptop.. but i never got bought by this Freesync so on.. as at moment i am good without it... if a free upgrade without new hardware heck! i m on board the ship.. but... have to get another Freesync LCD eh is just extra money better spend on other part of my rig.. but i originally post G sync cause maybe.. maybe i could just update driver on my MSI GT70 20D.. eh but seem to hurt somebody..

i saw it work ! on new ASUS Gaming Notebook with GTX970M/980M so i was hoping... hope ja.. that i could get driver (leak one) to try on my Notebook.. hehe but eh no woorried thx reply.. and words..

haha i dunno about you... but when i first got Reference R9 290X it Hitting Firestrike score nearly 10K... at 2013 to hit that score at the time was(not easy) .. woo yes Noise was sound like Hair blower.. but it got 2 mode on gpu... Silent/Turbo (aka noisy but won't hit 90C during load or hit 90C+ but noise is less..)

add-on: Sapphire R9 290X TriX RM1.3K (less noise load temp 75c+) and 4GB is 4GB

only thing you should worried is when DX12 is out i heard DX12 tend to Fully utilize the GPU power.. and if fully access vram.. it will be.. interesting to see how DX12 acted with GTX 970 vram situation... but at moment gtx 970 is good Gpu to play on 1080p /1440P heck any game that dun fully over use vram past 3.5GB it should be okay.. and i only see game Shadow of mordor use over 3.5Gb vram but only few user suffer any stutter..

eh i think if your casual gamer that game on 1080p And dun mind set game setting medium, GTX 960 for RM800 is good buy.. or go R9 280X hmm

nah Nvidia GTX900 series is Auto OC no need to Manually OC it(my opinion) eh i got CM GX II 550W i look at Gainward GTX 970/980 (reference) minimum 500W so i should be on clear.

so there time where AMD fan and Nvidia Fan @r EndUser goes best bang/Budget... soon there be added Fan categories Cross-SLI Fan...

is not yet out.. window 10 first than DX12 let not judge anything yet till is all out... Mantle seem to work and increase the minimum Fps when using Mantle.. help with cpu/gpu bottleneck and i imagine to have GCN core and CUDA

hm i own 2 Gpu from AMD.. yes it got it weakness and issues but i overcome it(to always use DDU to install AMD driver..).. and now steadfastly it crossfire inside my Rig stable/gaming in 4K(med or High setting) with short profile edit boom i can made unsupported crossfire game support play with less lag(4k)

Nvidia well on Desktop Asus GTX 760 DCUII i never have any problem not even Bsod.. or driver problem never need to use DDU awesome... but on GTX780M for my MSI GT70 20D.. i have to use DDU to make sure clean driver intalation and there time to time driver related crash or Bsod.. but like wise i overcome it this also goes to my AsusG75VX notebook GTX675M some Driver issues/crash... but with DDU/ CCleaner help overcome it Reg issues..

Conclusion... i have not Experience any SUX from them... to me non GPU maker is perfect.. Enduser we need both of them better if there3 or 4 more in the World GPU..
