hello, newbie here. upgraded my note 3 to note 4 after much deliberation (originally planned to wait for note 5, but i'm weak, so anyways...). my note 3 was an excellent device, never give me any problem. not even a lag. but i betrayed her and trade her in for a new note 4. right off the bat this thing gives me attitude. the ir blaster doesn't work. at all. it lags constantly, especially when i use the s-note (i take notes all the time). the video playback lags all the time (the picture froze for 2 secs while the audio plays on and then it resume nonchalantly as if nothing happens). the battery is poor (around 4 hours of normal usage) but thankfully the new fast charging adapter zap it up in no time. its N910C so i understand that it's team enxynos, and i understand that it may work differently as oppose to snapdragon, but really? do all of you have the same problem or did i unluckily bought a retarded unit? i'll probly hang on to it till the official lollipop update arrives. if things doesn't work out, i may have to let it go.

just upgraded to L like a few mins ago.
aesthetically there's not much change. the icons looks exactly the same as the stock n4's. however changes can be seen in stock email, messages, phone (dialer, logs, contact), music and video. the notification bar changes it's color according to aforementioned apps' header.
maybe it's the placebo effect, but the phone feels a faster and more fluid.
oh and L's flip bird game is so hard i suggest you shouldn't play it to avoid darah tinggi.
do y'all know any other L's improvements? i'm testing the battery life. see how i goes.

Speaking of note 4 cover, I got the official windowless flip cover, in gold colour. I'm a quite huge gym going guy, so my choice of n4 cover raised a lot of eyebrows. People be like, bruh?! And I'm like, you would never be glamour...

To anyone using Polish L, have you tried gaming? I played temple run 2 at the highest quality and the game stutters. 'On the run' is alright. Is it just me or it happens to anybody else?

Hey anybody got problem with My.haikexue.com pop ups while mobile browsing? Try to use adblocker but to no avail. Scanned using kaspersky but it said no virus found. Looked at the Internet and it suggests that I fix my chrome browser in my pc. Like wtf? Anybody knows how to remove it?

are you sure it's top and bottom? i thought it's left and right edge display

come to think of it, top and bottom is a better placement of the curved screen. when someone holding up the phone they wont accidentally pressed the reactive screen. the buttons will stay at their original position and the mini usb jack can be placed sideways.

if i have to choose, i'd rather have fast charging than wireless charging.

wireless charging sounds like a nifty thing. but if by wireless charging means you have to dock it on a special pod for it to charge, it seemed counter productive. with conventional/fast charging, you can still interact with your phone whilst charging with the freedom of movement advantage. but with wireless charging you can only interact with your phone while it's on the pod, to which i imagine you will have to maneuver it in an awkward position.

but if it includes both features, it would be awesome.

It might be fb app that is the culprit. It uses a lot of data and consume a huge chunk of ram. Why don't you uninstall it (and the messenger app too) and see if anything change. Use browser to surf fb.

Note 4 bendgate[

I have had my note 4 for over a month, and to preserve it's aesthetics I've selected to use the official windowless flip cover because I like the phone to mimic the real writing notepad. However yesterday I've noticed that there's a bend at the volume rocker side of my note 4. It's not bend all the way through tho, just on the volume rocker side.

The case has a sturdy hard back, which I have to peel off the original plastic cover to fit the phone onto the case. I put it into my front trousers pocket day to day basis. And I have not done any strenuous activity as I'm on a boring desk job.

Can I get a replacement? What do you think? I love the phone, and I'm not considering to move to other brand or OEM because I love the s-pen, I write a lot for my job.

Called Samsung service center and they asked me to go to Samsung service centre at lowyat.
