Background apps, most probably. Since you and your wife own note 4 each, compare the apps' battery usage of your phone with your wife's, can be found under settings > system > power savings.

Try checking how much the apps are eating your battery usage, then compare with your wife's if necessary. If there aren't any apps that use lots of battery life and you still encounter fast battery drain should go ahead and check with any phone stores.
