hi, i just got my note 4 yesterday from maxis. just one concern i had in my mine when i play around with the phone, is it advisable to use the fingerprint as lock/unlock function for long term? is a very cool function but i might afraid the sensor will have shorter life span due to heavy usage daily?
*
unless you have sweaty palm which maybe will make the sweat sip into the home button i dont see any problem with it using it for long term. I used it for a week and finally turned it off. Maybe next note 5 will have improved version but this swipe and unlock fingerprint just fail IMO. Huawei and iPhone makes better fingerprint sensor as unlocking phone should be easy and fast ( 1-2 sec is great ).

omg...my note 4 starts to have some lag. 1 week old. Lag when using facebook, whatsapp

Mine still buttery smooth , sometime the lag is caused by some error , normally a reboot will run smooth again

Wonder when android battery life can be like iPhone!

Buy iphone for the battery life brows.gif
Note 5 with more power efficient and 4k battery. Still doubt it will last as samsung phone battery always fluctuate up and down.
Perhaps Sony able to achieve it , their stamina mode and standby is one of the best in android.

Is it true to say get iPhone for stability and android for customisation?
*
Stability i guess its only iOS 5 and 6 which i rarely get any crash or force close on app and hardly had any force reboot. Thats was the prime time for iOS i felt. Android prior to jelly bean is really laggy and and buggy. Thing had changed so much and iOS since 7 update is no longer smooth as before. I often get crash especially safari browser and some others apps.
One thing i like about iOS is the Apps are much more polished and beautiful compare with Android counterparts and the current 6 plus battery life without tinkering the wakelocks laugh.gif

Yup the camera on the note 4 is a beast

Yup i still prefer camera on note 4 than 6 plus. I am not a pro in photography just point and shoot type but note 4 always get better output for me lol. Dont know why people tend to say iphone camera is better hmm.gif , but i know i am the culprit lol

Ip6+ for its better battery life n slight better audio
If you can accept ip6 restrictive file system it is a good phone. File restrictive system :
- you cannot attach any file except for video n photos in mail app. There is a backdoor but inefficient way to do it. For multiple attachment you need to use a paid app multiattachment ontop of mail app
- you must assign any file more than a time if you wish to open it with another app. Eg a pdf file if assigned to app A only app A can open it. If you wish to use app B you need to copy file over again to phone n assign the new app to it. You need iTunes in PC to manage your files well.
- you will be unable to locate easily files downloaded as lacking a file explorer. All 3rd party file app equally hopeless. Phone cannot detect external usb storage through usb otg adapter
- sharing of info from fb, tweeter, rss feeds etc is very poor n if can share is long winded process
- if u whatsapp a lot all your photo n video lump together in camera folder
I gave up ip6+ mainly because of above issues. Ip6 fans will tell you to adapt n change to use it
Note4 is a good phone too but without above limitations
Your choice will depend on OS preference
Unlike the old days before jellybean , android os has improved a lot n is quite stable. However if you install unofficial app sometimes it could cause stability issues

Lol, +100 , exactly what i hate about iOS. Except the superb battery life , i dont really fancy iOS now.
