No issue after flashing the L5 - i didn't even backup anything and all the stuff and apps in my device still intact - nothing is lost.

#OOT - Just flashed my wife Note 3 with official L5.
Almost similiar now to Note 4 blink.gif
Only the camera is still different but not much - same goes to the video

1.8gb is normal on stock rom despite some bloat ware has been turned off but the root apps are still semi active.
I follow the S3 thread guide lines on what apps to turn off.

You should do factory reset.
You choose force stop in apps manager.
