QUOTE(Kasumie @ Jan 15 2015, 10:11 AM) excited now. going to get my new note4 later while. Any advise on the screen protector? May I know what is tempered glass sp? It is something very new for me. normal screen protector is made out of very thin plastic...tempered glass sp..is made out of flexible glass that offer far better protection compared to plastic..but more expensive..most tempered glass sp out there caused halo effect on note 4..

i guess the moderater need to put some big sign..stating that there is absolutely no need to install any RAM manager..android owns RAM management is more than good enough..

QUOTE(sordanny @ Jan 21 2015, 11:39 AM) It doesn't fully cover the screen and so there is risk of halo effect. Other factors such as installer / phone condition could also be among the reason causing it Yes agree But it is sooooo hard to find a screen protector that fully covers the screen If anyone that managed to get it, please share. Thanks only non-tempered glass sp can fully cover the screen..

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Jan 21 2015, 05:07 PM) Android L is 64 bit base right ? Let say Android L roll out for our device, will samsung unlock it to 64 bit? that remains unknown..lollipop will still function well without changing to 64bit..highly doubt samsung will unlock it...they dont even advertise it as 64bit...so i guess is up to some modders to unlock it unofficially..

64bit will only perform efficiently with 4gb ram or more....note 4 only got 3gb...so my guess is only S6 or Note 5..will have true unlocked 64bit with 4gb ram..so..dont put in so much expectation with the lollipop update...

QUOTE(KMercury @ Jan 21 2015, 06:25 PM) What about the 64bit Snapdragon 615 within HTC Desire 820? Its a 64bit SoC and comes with 2gb of ram only. yes..but might not work as efficiently as having 4gb of ram...also...the apps needed to take advantage of 64bit as well....developers need to take the initiative to make their apps 64bit compatible..if not..there is not much diff using 32bit chips..

QUOTE(Izwan898 @ Jan 24 2015, 07:41 AM) Nope didnt notice it on my unit. Can you send us a photo of it? Now using otterbox commuter and its supplied SP. Not bad and worth the price of RM180. Will not go naked again since I have learnt a hard lesson with my s4 last time. Never trust gorilla glass marketing gimmicks how good was the supplied sp??? was it thick?

QUOTE(mab71 @ Jan 25 2015, 07:13 PM) Guys... Saw no one posted this yet so here it goes... This is a Debloater for unrooted phones running kitkat. I tried this on my unrooted z3 compact and it worked like a charm. Gonna try this on my new note 4. Btw, the developer is also using a note 4,but it's the USA verizon model. Enjoy! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2998294i think u can only block apps...u need to be rooted in order to remove apps..
