I encountered problem with my Dell Pentium M laptop (OS is Windows XP Professional). When the computer is turned on, it shows/says Setup is being restarted. Finally the laptop did not work with a blue screen and these messages:
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0X00000080 (0X00000000 0X00000000).
The system has been shut down.
This appeared after I tried to repair windows XP with windows setup. I believe the HDD is already formatted in the process. It has only one slot for RAM (512 MB) with 40 GB IDE HDD.
I am trying to get this old laptop in working order again at a cost that is affordable. If it has to do with the motherboard, I will not consider any repair at all. If it is HDD problem, I am prepared to get it repaired.
I look forward to services rendered by the forum members.
Thank you and best regards.
