It's called aspiration ler.... if ferrari sell at kancil price...would it be a ferrari?

I can't afford to own a ferrari but aspire to own one.

It's sad that the IT industry these days no more niche di...everything all mainstream.

What they should know is that you cant do a "Ferrari Price Policy" on stuffs like this. Its like a BMW or a Mercedes you know. Who wouldnt wanna own one? Everyone admires one, everyone needs one, but NOT everyone is able to pay for one.

Considering there won't be any more manufacture of their casings, you can bet any existing stock will become insta-classics and the price will increase even more due to even more exclusivity and it'll be even more desirable. (Did I just use "even more" too many times laugh.gif)

Yeah. I agree on the price hike thing. Its like "oooh, the last Proton Wira. Last time it costs 50K, now 5.5 million????"

Act not all the time manufacturers simply put any price or xcessive margin. More likely the production cost itself vry high due to various costs; like the escalating metals' price nowadays

Acey : No1 gonna pay dat price for a Proton lah. Better get Bentley or Rolls-Royce laugh.gif

How true... in most situations, the margins earned by the distributor or the shop itself are higher than manufacturers themselves leh...and those guys have factory to maintain leh. *sigh*

Similar 2 almost any biz, even selling vegetables, the middleman simply makes most while customers think its all due to the producer

Anyway since it already happened nothing can be done ready & no point discussing further; unless white knight comes 2 the rescue tongue.gif

I enquired about buying one from them 4 months ago. They emailed me back telling me they do not sell outside of Japan. I begged them to sell and ship me one....even offered to write an article on it. But they won't budge.......got business also don't want - no wonder they closed down. lol

Some manufacturers hav strict policies regarding their market presence etc; which for me is just nonsense
