Depends on my games I play. If it is old game or Dota 2 then i run at stock card speeds.
If it is on more taxing games then it'll be either at 1080Mhz or 1150MHz depending on room temp(no aircon)

Max speed for bench is 1200-1230Mhz.

Ok ok la since 1150MHz is already 21.4% overclock compared to 290's stock clock of 947MHz

Can someone show me the link of best way to OC my 260X safely ? Or someone can give me thir best numbers so I can at least have a rough idea of where to start/stop ?

may i ask reason for oc ? and do you understand risk of OC... ? have you try Sapphire Trixx ?

Trixx : Installed but no idea head or tail how to use it.

Most links I found about OC are from intermediate to advance level kind of talk so I don't understand anything. Those that were beginner's level was ages ago and was using different version of software than current ones.

Not sure, but you may want to use MSI Afterburner to turn down the clocks, or go with the hard way: disassemble your laptop, and replace the thermal paste with a decent one.

I don't think you can undervolt a GPU, but please correct me if this turn out to be false.

eh need boost during gaming than new Gpu is your choice not OC, as it meant to give u temporary improve and it may increase temp may damage gpu.. for long use specially during gaming... so how is your case air flow ?

Try Msi Afterburner, i use it to overclock and underclock my 6770m.

I'm not sure if u can undervolt with overdrive hack anymore, give it a try.

Sapphire have several version for their 260X. Some of it have dual fan big heatsinks while other have single fan small aluminum heatsinks. If you have the aluminum version I think you better don't OC.

one thing to keep in mind, Do NOT put AUTO-OC in the program when you are testing the ceiling clock.
this will cause the above situation happen.

you should enter safe mode and disable the software from auto-startup via msconfig.

I tried to overclock my R7 265 a few weeks ago,followed the core and memory clocks,including voltage of what the reviewer did. Benchmarked it with Unigine Heaven,while benchmarking,screen suddenly turn into white with blue fade.But music still going on lol. What i did,lower down the clocks by 50MHz,and voila.No more proble

Maybe you could try like that.I was using Sapphire Trixx though.

I do recommend staying on stock clock though..

Ngreedia decided to launch 980ti this summer.... I feel sorry for those who already bought 980. May be Ngreedia felt the heats from the rumoured 390 series flagship.

Lets hope that there will be no more 390 product series delays from AMD(Always Making Delays).

I smell more delays for the flagship so they can skip 1st-gen HBM.
