For goodness sake, there are some things you just have to go to the outlet. Why? To feel it with your own skin. To look at the pattern with your own eyes. Not everything is through a spoon feeding forum.

During jusco sales you can get most of the akemi below 300. It really depend they thread counts, and material, and size.

Parkson & Isetan will have more selection, price is always higher than Jusco.

aussino is also nice.

Last week went to homepro and get a comforter set. It didn't have the thread count wrote on it which mostly have. But it really smooth and soft. Make of microfiber material. (my underwear material) biggrin.gif

Cost RM179. Grab 1 and try.

Don't get cheated by the high thread count. Some unknown brands can put whatever they want. Some calculate thread count in metric and don't tell you how many ply. Best is to feel it with your own hand. Those more than 500 thread counts per square inch is bullshit.

Best material is Eyptian cotton but now that also bullshit already cause not all Eyptian cotton are the long strand type. Try Supima cotton. It's the brand name for anything using long yarn Pima cotton

You can go SG Isetan sale. I bought a comforter with bedsheet for $40 only. Then buy second set (without sale) (separate comforter and sheet) for $39 for the comforter and $19 for the bed sheet. Jusco is a lot more ex compare to SG.

High Thread count also need to use hand (even better cheek ) to feel it. Ikea do sell nice bed and quilt cover, problem they don't have king, and for High (thick) mattress.
