they think that the world has a vendetta against the "almighty" chelski. LOL, what they fail to realise is all of these are self-inflicted. They were generally liked during Ken Bates era (to those of you Chelsea fans who so frequently stalk this thread, yes, there was an owner before your sugar daddy abramovich and his name is Ken Bates) and had some likeable players like deschamps, desailly, zola and hasselbaink. then the russian came along and reduced the beautiful game to a matter of finances, and a lottery of which club a billionaire feels like using as a vanity project. I can't think of many teams that have had such a collection of unlikable players like terry, lampard, cole, drogba amongst others. then mourinho was introduced to EPL. sure he had a lot of money and good players at his disposal but his teams aren't fun to watch. all they do is sit back, and then wait to pounce - despite how gifted their players are, and how much money they have. His teams also spend lots of time dealing with underhanded tactics - moaning, diving, fouling - much more than most. Also, he b****es, moans and talks crap more than any other manager. To the point of one ref receiving death threats due to his fabricated allegations and poking a guy in the eye. People don't just stick pins in a league table and decide to hate on one team. It isn't just jealousy at success and money; City aren't hated cos they play nice football under a thoroughly decent guy of a manager (unlike when they had the Village Idiot's Mourinho as manager).
