Walcott contract is due to expire in Summer 2016. He is at present earning £90,000 a week. I certainly hope the Board will offer him a good contract, probably in the range of £120k. Walcott to me is going to be our top scorer alongside Sanchez, Giroud and Welbeck for years to come.
We're at our top level with everyone back from injury.

And that Coquelin guy, just give him whatever he wants! I love his fighting spirit mang!
*
The way Coquelin is playing now, reminds me of the Flamini back in the days before he left us for Milan but with better ball control and passing.

The likes of Ozil, Sanchez, Theo, Santi and what not have been taking the plaudits of late but this guy is perhaps the most important player in the team right now.

There we go. Comparisons to Invincibles now and best team since got knows when after a run of just a few good wins.

AST nowadays have a pre-ejac problem. Probably what Claude from Arsenal Fan TV and a few others said is true. We have been basking too long in mediocrity that fans now are so easily pleased and contented.

While the last few performances have been very encouraging and definitely a step in the right direction, its hardly any reason to get carried away.

Asking for opinion isn't comparing, mate.
*
"This team or invincibles team"

If this is not an opinion driven comparison question then I don't know what is.

Ospina currently on fire, has great form and focus atm so without doubt he should retain position in starting lineup.

Szczesny has lost focus since winning golden gloves last season and form dropped badly this season. Not his 1st time losing focus. Last time he was in good form and focus, then got himself to much tweeter until form dropped then came back stronger to win golden gloves. Perhaps next season he'll come back more focus and try to regain no:1 spot.

But as now, Ospina is no:1 for BPL, FA Cup and UCL. Szczesny can start in League Cup..next season.
*
Szczesny will play in the FA cup.

Wengers policy has always been number 1 keeper = Bpl and UCL, number 2 keeper FA cup and carling cup. Hence why we had fabianski playing in the FA cup and the final last year.

Serves Arsene right IMO. Not surprised tbh.

Arsene admitted himself Alexis was in the red zone and there was absolutely no need to play Alexis vs Brighton yet he did it anyway.

It happened with Rambo last year and this year its Alexis turn to be overplayed into the ground.

Fortunately Theo, Mesut and Aaron have returned just in time.

Bagus la lets continue to play players till they get injured just because they "want to" or get "frustrated" from not playing even though we know they are being overplayed.

Good also no need to headache on squad rotation every time. They will self rotate themselves out of the team for rest and give others a chance to play when they get injured.

It's not entirely Wenger's fault. The guy (Sanchez) is a fighter and works so hard each day. I think I remembered reading he got frustrated (or at least disappointed) he wasnt picked for Galatasaray match (a match that didnt mean anything considering we already qualified).

So Wenger probably brought him on vs Brighton so that Sanchez could keep his match fitness plus sharpness, and he could still play and maybe scored (which he didnt but almost though)

And what did we gain from that game? An injured in-form Rambo for weeks.

Ospina was horrendous today. But I guess it's okay because his name isnt szczesny.

So according to most of today's headlines here, we got thrashed by Kane. laugh.gif

I guess losing 2-1 constitute as a thrashing where as 5-3 is a close fight.

Before Yaya Toure went to City, I don't remember seeing anyone here wants Yaya. Now suddenly dig everything.

At that time we had Gilberto, Vieira and Edu.
'
Yaya wouldn't even get a sniff at first team football.

For all we know he could've joined us, wasted his life away in the reserves and then faded into nothingness.
