i prefer this 2 shape design compared to previous 1s

but still, the < button on right side. i prefer < at left side, juz like Huawei, Asus, Alcatel, Benq.

guessing still need wait Huawei come out with competitive products ...

hope new redmi 2 no such called 'spy program that send data back to xiaomi server'

I hate Mediacrap.
There's a spyware called MTKLog when you use your phone for the first time or factory reset.
Really knn, take up damn a lot of space.

It is fused right? So there's virtually no gaps between the glass and display. Like the iPad Air 2?

Yep. So it look bright and great.

Actually I see not much benefit upgrade from current Redmi 1S owner, just some slight battery bump, selfie (anyone mind?), minor design/weight changed (that won't even notice).

That one great benefit to consumers are the QuickCharge. DualSIM 4G is really "meh really?" to Malaysia. doh.gif

Upgrade not. But buying for first time user, much welcome.
- Better LCD display.
- Dual 4G LTE
- Selfie
- Slight better processor.

Its also slightly smaller and more importantly nearly 30g lighter. That large of a difference can be felt immediately.

Not sure Xiaomi got ditch the current Redmi 1S ugly Gray Color Screen (aka TN display) and replace it with the current one on the Redmi Note. sweat.gif

Honestly, Samsung AMOLED/Nexus 6 looks good with over saturated display brows.gif

Processor wise not much difference because it is still running Android 4.4 so there will be no significant benefits/ performance improvement.

Doesn't really matter, the point is when people buy budget smartphones, they are using it temporarily while they fund for a higher end phone like iPhones, Note Edge or Nexus 6

Redmi 1S is IPS screen not TN or VA.

It is not that great because of not a GFF architecture, the screen is not stick to surface.

Actually AMOLED getting great and greater. Especially current Note 4.

Now I call it vivid not over saturation, saturation got color balance and accuracy issue, but Note 4 is only higher vividness.

True. Samsung oversaturated colours is old news with current flagships. The saturation and color accuracy on the s5 is much better than the s4. And the Note 4 is now leading the field.

That's the reason my dad is selling both his phones for the Note 4.
Any idea where to get Exynos 64GB version? SME set of course.
