Hello. Can anyone help me determine which type of RAM should I get for my macbook pro? I want to upgrade my RAM to 1gb or more. Currently only have 512MB 667MHZ DDR2. Would be great if anyone can tell me where can I get them also.

If this is not the right place to post this, please do tell me where is the right place.

Any help, would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks...

Regards,

I think any computer store would have RAM that is compatible with MBP. So don't worry.

If you are not sure, bring along your MacBook and upgrade right there at the shop. Boot up your Mac...see if it detects the new RAM via the System Profiler. Leave your Mac on for at least 20mins - 30 mins. If it doesn't crash then you are good to go.
