Anyone on Unifi, Maxis Fibre, Streamyx etc. that come with router with ethernet/RJ45 and wifi, if you experience problem with wifi (especially b, g, n) BUT NOT with ethernet, that's mean your wifi channel has some interference with your neighbor wifi or other electrical appliance like cordless phone or microwave oven.
If interference with neighbor's wifi, try to change to other channel. If interference with electrical app, move your AP/router elsewhere.
Other solution, buy ac wifi AP (access point)
Don't simply say TM/Maxis sucks if you never tried the troubleshooting above. With b, g, n wifi, I've seen a lot of interference in my taman alone. I have to frequently check the other wifi's channel. The auto setting in most router regarding the channel selection is rubbish. Manual is better.
And don't simply say that TM's/Maxis's router suck without trying the above method. All the router have to follow the standard. Usually the provided modem/router only serves for basic function like b, g, n wifi, 1 antenna only, 100 mbps LAN. If got money, pls spend on modem/router that support ac, b, g, n, multiple antenna (i've seen 3 as the most), gigabit LAN. Gigabit LAN does not affect the surfing speed. 100 mbps is more than enough, but with the recent 100 mbps internet by Maxis fibre, gigabit ethernet is a must. I hope Maxis provide router that support gigabit ethernet.

Maxis sucks. 1 week internet downtime, no rebate for the downtime ...
