I'm going to buy an intel H81 based motherboard and pair it with pentium G3258 cpu. The motherboard BIOS needs to be updated to support that cpu.
Does that mean I must have an older supported CPU to be installed first to flash the BIOS? If the motherboard doesn't support the new CPU before BIOS flashing, I guess I will just get a black screen and can't enter the BIOS to flash it, am I correct? |

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ May 9 2015, 10:19 AM) Normally new stock already have the BIOS to support Haswell refresh and the Pentium G updated out of the box since the update is almost 1 year ago. do we normally get the new stock? i'm targetting asus H81M-KBut you can always ask the seller to help you update it if it hasn't, normally they have this service.
