How about these?

Xeon E3-1231 V3 - RM829
Asrock H97 Pro4 motherboard - RM329
Kingston 8GB DDR3-1600 x1 - RM249
Seasonic M12 II 620W power supply - RM359
Bitfenix Neos case - RM179
Dell E2414H 24" monitor - RM569

RM2514 total (Viewnet prices)
Games these days utilizes more CPU power. You can try upgrading your GPU to R9 280 (RM759 for Sapphire at C-Zone) or better first.

Hello sifus,

Should I buy my rig before or after GST? Will the price hike a lot? Also I like a recommendation a rig that is easy to carry around. I'm looking at Corsair's 380T as my main case. Budget would be around 2.5k or less

Thank you!

It's hard to tell. US Dollar already raised the prices.

2.5k budget with overpriced case. Did you 380T alone is already RM539?
*
Yeah, the casing is expensive, but i want something that is easy to carry. any substitute? but lingloong is selling it under 500 i think.

oh and also i dont need hard disk and graphic card, but will need a monitor though

When the day comes what mobo and Cpu should I get? And btw, say I get the Gpu tomorrow along with the ram and wait to get the power supply in less than a month or so, will my pc run properly? And will the pc be able to play battlefield 4 multilayer at medium/high? Wonder what my fps would be just simply by changing Gpu and increase ram to 8gb

Get a Haswell combo, 97 mobo and alongside i5 to i7 processors, including xeon as well

Hello all, below is my rig that i wanted to build with reason why I picked it, any comment on it?

I5-4460 - I wanted Xeon, but this would suffice for now (will upgrade later)
HyperX Savage Red 8GB Kit (4GBx2) - don't know why, but looks good biggrin.gif
Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 - because got handle
Seasonic M12 II 620W EVO - seasonic seems like good brand
Monitor 22" - help me on this ):
ASRock H97 Performance - not sure why though, maybe because it have headphone good feature something2

I'm still undecided on motherboard and monitor, other stuffs I already 90% decided to buy them

My budget would be around 400 to 500 for monitor, and motherboard is around 400 too

Try

BenQ GL2450-B 24" - RM489
Asrock H97 Pro4 - RM389 (estimated for GST)
*
How far should I place the monitor from my seating? Because I think, well personally 24" is too big for me, and also i have some space issues

Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely will do survey on the prices. As i am currently working in Sarawak. Got no choice but to do part order online. Any suggestion on online shop? Or should i go purchase from oversea since the option is better (in term of used part avalability).
*
I think local online shops are better, because if there's any warranty issue you can easily pass it back to vendor (some of them can take care of warranty issue). but it's just my 2 cents biggrin.gif

or I can send the parts to you since I'll be going to lowyat these couple of days

Hi all,

I would like a recommendation for 120 fans, would like to attach it as intake fans. Was looking at Noctua and Corsair fans yesterday, not sure which one I should buy. Also considering Cooler Master Jetflo fans too.
