[Budget] RM3500

[Purpose] gaming and AutoCAD

[Hardwares that will be re-use] keyboard, mouse, 2.1 speakers

[Monitor resolution] 1080p (any 1440p that won't break the bank?)

[Personal preferences] AMD gfx, SSD

[Location] planning to get at lowyat viewnet

note:
- will be needing a decent IPS monitor hopefully at 23"/24" (none gloss preferred, leaning towards Dell ultrasharp but willing to try out recommendations)
- Latest Windows ( any recommended versions?)
- anti virus

Guys, I need help to build a rig for stuff like 3D animation making since i'm taking the course on college and it's alright for gaming. More for animation, spare time gaming.

[Budget]: rm2000 - 2600

[Requirements of the rig]:-

1: 3D animation software best for

2: Quad-Core Processor

3: Is good for gaming too

4: Smooth when making 3D projects

No need to include mouse, speaker or screen.

Hopefully a cheaper casing, as i like my money spend more towards gpu's , mobo , processor and so.

Thank you very much rclxms.gif

You would want at least i5 for 2014 to current games. Games are demanding more CPU now.

Btw, any particular reason for the H97 chipset? I was thinking of the B85 vanguard from asus..looks good with heat sinks...
also, are M-ATX chasis like the bitfenix prodigy unnecessary?

thank you

Thank you for the help, and sorry to bother you. The dvd writer part is i'm unsure of because i'm inexperienced at computer building. Can you please recommend one to me thanks.

Just buy any brand. It makes no difference now.

4 RAM slots for that H97 board. More expansion slots.

You will need to change the motherboard to M-ATX for Bitfenix Prodigy M.

Yeah, you can go B85 Vanguard if you want that instead.
