Cut down power supply? Should be on other hardware instead. Also, you have unneeded overpriced hardware like performance RAM that does squat for real world performance. Don't go for SSD when your base performance is not good enough. You can't find i5-4690 at the price as well. Price hike due to US dollar.

hi guys, I used to be familiar with PC building, but my last experience was with Pentium D tongue.gif
so now, i'm total noob.

I was using intel i5 pc with 8gb ram at my last office for photo editing and now need to build a PC for my own use.

so for my own,
I think i5 with 16gb ram is good enough.
just my concern is the motherboard.
I'm not very familiar with motherboard. I need mobo that could support future upgrade.
My last Pentium D mobo only have 2 slots for ram  doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

Yeah, cheaper mobo works if you don't mind less features. Yes, you can overclock. Just make sure you check the temperature.

Yeah, just make sure it has HDMI port. Other brands are just slightly more expensive if you can't find this one on sale.
