For GTX970 which brand will be good? ZOTAC / LEADTEK GTX 970 HURRICANE /GALAX GTX 970 EXOC ? cause other i think alot stockout
or maybe i should just stick to MSI R9 290X LIGHTNING or apphire R9 290 TRI-X OC

Hardware can be reused; Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard and DVD writer, Not sure if the casing can be reused.

Monitor Resolution - going to invest in the near future to up to something that can support more than 1080p or maintain. see how my budget goes...if possible can u recommend something for now as an option...

Gaming&Software that frequently used; I play FPS/RPG that’s about it.

Personal Preference – Something that can support current and upcoming(lets say a year from now) graphic demanding games for FPS/RPG like the below.

The cooler having subpar performance, not exactly much more impressive than stock cooler.

If I am to build an ITX build, I will opt for Prolimatech Samuel 17, much more superior performance and flexible fan configuration.

Just came back from Lowyat. Really crowded today and viewnet even run out of cpu.
Got the best quote from Jayacom for the specs i wanted at 3.5k w/out the case which is over my budget. Guess i'll change to xeon + m/b to H97  or similar will be cheaper i think. However, the seller suggested taking at least 600w PSU for better stability as 520w would be minimum requirement.

I know, but I'm going to SLI sometime in the future, and H97/H87 doesn't support SLI.
I got the i7-4790 for less than RM900... (matching my budget for the E3-1231 v3 anyways)
As for the Xigmatek Vector 650W, it's 80+ Silver rated and cost less than RM250... can't go wrong there!

If the price different (from k) is great and you don't really plan to OC, then still acceptable.

As for GPU, you do know that GPU's good or bad don't really reflect on the bronze/silver/gold rating right?
