Yes yes.. This event has been around for few years time, one day only per year and it's usually giving discount, however, only applicable to Apple Store (http://www.apple.com/my/)

Apple RED is something different. That's for the AIDS event.
This event is more like sales/discount/price reduction.

Red Friday 2014 Apple managed to screw up the discount and all the price reduction was in SGD instead of RM. A lot of us managed to get some pretty amazing deal. I doubt there is such a repeat this year.

Ya.. I saw those amazing price reduction which happened by mistakes.. Saw a lot ppl sharing this experience on another thread.. Hopefully there are some more similar "surprises".. Haha

Last year i managed to get huge discount when purchase iPad mini due to Apple mistake. Didnt put much hope though for this year.

but still, waiting for Apple Red Friday and going to buy iPhone 6 Plus this year

wonder macbook will have how much discount....

I remember getting one unit of EarPods at a substantial discount and if I'm not wrong, it was sold for RM79.00 or RM89.00. Much cheaper than the RM109.00 that the EarPods are being sold for, in the Apple Stores!

That's why I appreciate Apple's gesture in absorbing the shipping costs. Even for this iPhone 6 that I ordered on Christmas Eve, UPS actually delivered it on Boxing Day (and they were also working on Christmas, sending the phone from Singapore to KLIA), and without any charge to me!

If Red Friday stuff comes with free shipping, then it makes it more worthwhile to purchase it on that day then!

why you buy... i have new earpods still in my iphone box...

I wanted to get an extra set of EarPods, so that I won't need to use the same one when I take the train or go to the gym, haha!

The earpod never been my favorite earphone due to the size that make my ear pain and i dont think it sounds good too compare to other brand (i.e sony)

Since Chinese New Year will be on February 19 and 20 (which is a Thursday and Friday), will the Red Friday end up on the 6th or 13th? These two dates are the last Fridays before CNY anyway!

Asking the same question. Comparing with the k12 current pricing and Red Friday's 2014 discount, it seems that k12 is cheaper by 50-100. Anyone did a comparison on the actual day itself last year?
